Applications are encouraged from outstanding candidates with research and teaching interests in communication and media studies for two permanent lectureships commencing 1 September 2015.
The successful candidates will join a well-established group of scholars based in the interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences, which is part of the School of Social, Political and Geographical Sciences.
Candidates are expected to have a completed PhD in a relevant subject, teaching experience, clear potential to contribute to the Department’s research culture, and a track record of high-quality publications appropriate for their career stage. The new appointees will be expected to teach on a range of topics related to communication and media studies at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Any area of specialisation is welcome.
