IAMHIST is managed by the IAMHIST Council, as duly elected representatives of the membership. The council meets once or twice a year to discuss the IAMHIST policy and upcoming conferences, events and initiatives. Every two years, an election of council members is organised among the members. For the upcoming election (scheduled for May 2015) we are looking for candidates. Every IAMHIST member is eligible. We especially encourage media practitioners or people connected to the archive world to step forward. Council members are elected for four years.
If you are interested in standing for election or if you’d like more information, please contact IAMHIST secretary general Leen Engelen (Leen.Engelen AT luca-arts.be) and/or IAMHIST president Nick Cull (cull AT usc.edu) before May 7th 2015. The election results will be made public at the general assembly meeting during the IAMHIST conference in Indiana.
